Premium lager beer, Hero, is set to celebrate and reward its teeming consumers with the launch of the “Rise like a Hero” campaign.
Consumers will get a chance to win cash prizes of N10,000 and N50,000 through an E-draw while grand prize winners of N1,000,000 will emerge weekly.
The campaign which kicked off on the 1st of August was launched to appreciate the support of Nigerians who have stuck with the Hero brand over the years.
Speaking on the idea behind the promo, Marketing Director, International Breweries, Tolulope Adedeji said Hero was on a mission to appreciate Nigerians this season. She noted that launching the “Rise Like a Hero” promo at this time is deliberate and strategic given the economic impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on individuals and businesses. She also stated that as the “Hero of Beers”, appreciation and hope are key qualities Hero values and hopes to inspire in people. Hence, the decision to reward consumers for their loyalty and support for the premium beer brand over the years.
“When we launched Hero into the Nigerian market eight years ago, we knew we had a good product that would do well. However, our expectations have not only been met but also surpassed due to the unalloyed support of our numerous consumers. And so, we decided to demonstrate our appreciation by giving back to our partners. We consider our consumers partners on this journey because Hero is all about them and their satisfaction. Over the next couple of weeks, consumers of Hero will have an opportunity to win airtime and cash gifts while they enjoy their favourite beer, so it’s a win-win for them,” she said.
The Rise Like a Hero Consumer Promo is geared towards celebrating and rewarding the hero that lives in the Nigerian.
Explaining further, Adedeji noted that the under-the-crown promotion will see consumers win instant airtime when they send the number under their Hero crown to a short message code or via a designated promo website.
She expressed hope that the gesture from the beer which was well-timed to coincide with such a period as this when the Covid-19 pandemic has been a sore spot for many will provide some measure of support for consumers.
